Youth Football

Welcome to the youth football page. We class youth football as anyone wanting to play Under 12 through to Under 18 football. Games for these age groups are competitive (results and tables published) and are 11 v 11. This page is design to provide players and others with a brief overview of what to expect.

    After you have decided that you want to start playing you will need to register for either the Winter or Summer programs. Registration for these seasons is open for a limited period. For the WINTER PROGRAM registrations open 01 Nov and close 01 March and the SUMMER PROGRAM registrations open 01 June and close 01 July for Futsal. If you want to start playing and have missed the registration windows then please contact us through info@marrickvillefc.org.au as we will be able to guide and help.

    A Players Typical Week

  • No Winter Training (Mackey and Steel Parks closed)
  • Summer (Futsal) training is typically held on a Monday evening at a local venue (venues and times each season)
  • Winter Training night (U8 to U11 - 17:30 to 19:00hrs)
  • Winter Training night (U12 up - 19:00 to 21:00hrs)
  • Confirm attendance for weekend fixtures using TeamStuff

  • Code of Conduct - remember by registering you are signing up to this
  • Fines - getting sent off, playing in teams you should not all attract fines from the district which are passed onto the player
  • Players Cards must be presented for all matches
  • Remember the club is run by volunteers - be patient
  • Remember teams are fined for late notification of forfeits so players MUST keep manager up to date on attendance
  • Please take care of all club equipment and grounds - they will last longer keeping fees down
